It's true!  Food is your energy and what you use as that energy is your fuel to life.  It's your power to control how you feel, look, and heal.  If you eat a bunch of carbohydrate loaded food, you'll have a quick burst of energy followed by a lack of energy.  That's because your body burns food at the rate it's absorbed.
However, there's much more to it than that.

Let's use a good analogy for this-a car!

Imagine you just bought a beautiful new car and it was something you've been wanting for a LONG time!
Now, most people take care of their car- by having their car washed or detailed, the belts changed, the fluids flushed and filled, oil and filter changed, and keeping up with maintenance.  You don't mind spending the money on having your car maintenance done because you know that if you don't take care of it well bad things happen.  Same thing happens with our bodies.
First of all, if you know your car needs gas you make sure it's the correct type of gas. (i.e. not diesel when you're running on regular unleaded)
Second of all, when you're low on gas you don't take it down to empty and get out to push your car to the gas station. (OK maybe that happened ONCE-lesson learned!)
What about when you get your oil changed?
Do you take that nice car and save some money by substituting the "recommended oil" with canola oil because it's a much cheaper oil?  Hopefully not!

So why aren't we taking that sort of care when it comes to our own body?  Why aren't we making sure that our bodies are getting the right type of fuel?  Why are we constantly pushing our bodies past exhaustion with "low-fuel" symptoms like fatigue, stress, depression and high blood pressure?  Why are we so dead set on making sure we get the cheapest product available for something as precious as our own body?

It doesn't make sense.

We must treat our body better than we treat our precious car or house or whatever is your 'my-precious' in life. (Yes, that's a quote from Lord of the Rings)

We have to BELIEVE that WE ourselves ARE our own 'PRECIOUS' and take care of ourselves as if we can't replace our body because we can't really replace our body-we can try to replace parts but as a whole we only get ONE body.  Besides replacing 'parts' is expensive and doesn't resolve the issue.  Even intense surgery doesn't at the root solve the problem, it only takes care of the symptom.  How long we survive, how great we feel while we are alive, what our body shapes look like, how our moods are affected, what diseases we are infected by, what illnesses we get are all shaped by the foods we eat and the nutrients we get from those foods.

In short: If we don't take care of our car, we don't have a car to drive.  We have a one and a half ton weight on our hands that after spending a lot of money on is pretty worthless-even to collectors.

You can always buy a new car but you only get ONE body.  Remember that.

Did you know?  Our bodies were actually designed to last and perform well beyond our 70's and 80's?

It all comes down to how you take care of yourself.  Neglect your body and you'll have more problems then you can afford to have.  Is it worth the investment now?  Of course, it is ALWAYS worth the investment.  Many diseases are reversible, many ailments can be healed naturally, many bodies can be addressed with the worth-while attention that's deserved.

So how do you do this?

You decide to make a change.

Fortunately you are of your own device to make the decision that will benefit your health and turn your life around for the better!  You have complete control of your future and what the outlook will be.
You may feel like you'll have to give up on everything you love, that you won't be able to have anything delicious again. However false that is, trust me when I say that it's just your EGO trying to make you feel justified in eating bad.
Look beyond that and ask yourself these questions: (answer them as honestly as you can)

  • Are you happy with your body?
  • Are you truly happy with the relationship you have with food?
(Can you eat without feeling guilty or sad that you ate too much or too little)
  • Do you binge eat?
  • Do you have eating disorders?
  • Do you suffer from depression?
  • Do you have mood swings?
  • Do you have random anger or 'rage' issues that are hard to control?
  • Have you been diagnosed with PCOS?
  • Do you have a problem with regular BM's (bowel movements)?
  • Do you suffer from heartburn?
  • Do you have indigestion?
  • Do you have high blood-pressure?
  • Do you have Type-2 diabetes?
  • Have you been diagnosed as a Celiac?
  • Do you have Gluten in-tolerances?
  • Do you know what Gluten is?
  • Do you have Osteoporosis?
  • Are you suffering from recent memory problems?
  • Does your body ache?
  • Do you feel bloated after eating?
  • Are you addicted to caffeine?
  • Are you addicted to protein?
  • Do you eat enough vegetables and fruit?
  • Do you know what it means to be nutrient deficient?
  • Do you get enough vitamin D?
  • Have you had an allergy test?
  • Are you allergic to dairy?
  • Have you been diagnosed as lactose-intolerant?

What other ailments, diseases, and symptoms are you suffering from?  Most can be treated, prevented, and cured with the bestfood4you because each PERSON has a different and unique set of circumstances that allow them to eat the foods they can.  Not everyone can eat rice, dairy, soy, corn, legumes, chicken, beef, pork, eggs, peanuts, nuts, sugar, high-refined sugars, high-refined carbohydrates, wheat, gluten, sorghum, etc.etc.. the same as the next.  We are ALL different.  So, how do you find out what foods you can eat?
There are MANY ways actually!  They all boil down to a process of elimination.  Luckily there are many ways to do this!!  I've created several different ways for people to go about changing their relationship with food.
